Alternate Names ADPRC1
Target Description CD38 is a type II transmembrane protein found on the surface of many immune cells including T cells, B cells, myeloblasts and NK cells. CD38 functions as both a receptor and an enzyme. CD38 can bind to CD31 on T cells resulting in the production of various cytokines. Enzymatically, CD38 functions as a cyclic ADP ribose hydrolase.
